I've seen quite a few people on this board moaning about how Carrick is a disgrace for not being on the standby list, lets put things into perspective, why would Carrick (an established Premier League footballer) waste his time on the bench for up to 4 weeks when he could be on the beach having a break? I mean footballers don't exactly don't get a lot of breaks so its perfectly reasonable for Carrick to want guarunteed football because he will want assurances that he will be spending his time effectively. Before anyone starts comparing it to Richards case you have to take into account that Carrick is 29 years of age and doesn't really have much to prove now, wheras Richards is relatively young and has quite a bit to prove.

You lot are embarrassing. I'm here for proper debate, not insults. I could do it myself but no I wouldn't go that low. I never get mocked on Liverpool board Vidicshin should stop dreaming. I'm nothing like him. I know he pretty much gets mocked everywhere he goes.
