RVP- Juve are great

"I can only talk of my intention to play in the Euros and win it and then continue to win in the Champions League.

My eyes on "...to win in the Champions League." I think he's considering leaving Arsenal. He's desperately want to win CL and we look unlikely to win it.

Some experiment that was, wasn't Ibra bought for 61m by Barca?

Supergoon, when they played Zlatan, Messi was out on the right wing. If they sign RVP, they'll definitely change their system in order to play Messi behind the main striker.

It's a long an reasonably involved article about Serie A club finances... but it's a bank holiday and most of you will have time to peruse it.

Which team can guarantee winning the CL next season ?

How many thought Chelsea would do it with their squad this year ?

Bet Fabregas thought he would do it with Barcelona or Nasri with Man C...

3 key players in and keep RVP, Walcott and Song and we have just as better chance then anyone else

It was the £40m + Eto'o deal, yeah, which they valued at about £60m or so.

I can't see how Messi and RVP would play in the same team, Verm.

They both like to be heavily involved with the play. We've seen at Arsenal that RVP will even drop back to take the ball off our centre-backs at times, so he will not take to a role where he has to remain up front.

They operate in similar areas. For what it's worth, I reckon they need a more like for like replacement for Eto'o.

Ironic is RvP left and we won CL.

But we have to keep RvP at all costs. Imo he's invaluable. Not just on the pitch, off it too.

Chelsea's CL win has proven what we had known for a long time. You don't have to be the best team in the competition to win it. Barcelona's struggles also proved that it's very difficult to win back to back CL's.

Messi will again destroy any CF that Barca will try to sign so I am pretty sure RVP will avoid Barca. The premier league sides don't need him so I don't think he is likely to sign for any of them and Wenger would not let him leave for a premier league side except for an obscene amount of money which only City will be willing to pay but they are the ones that need him the least. Van Persie will stay for next year but I don't think he will sign. We might lose him on a free next year.

We might lose him on a free next year.

We have a better chance of signing RVP next year.

a) He will be 30.

b) Although I would love him to be top scorer next year, I doubt he will be. I would expect Theo and Podolski to contribute more.

c) FFP will be in full swing and teams have to watch wage bills.

All that means there will be fewer pursuers. The problem is the Arsenal board of directors are greedy and won't take the chance of him walking away for nothing.

Where in those quotes does RVP call Juve great?
