For the first time since i have been born England are expected to do feck all in a major tournament, no hype, no music videos, no numerous reason's while this is their year, their not even expected to escape the group stage.
Now every year since Roman took over we were expected to win the CL and never did, the year we weren't given a prayer, bingo.
As Greece, us and Liverpool showed you literally only have to be in a knockout competition to stand a chance of winning it and Woy's contain and hoof tactics seem perfect for containing the flair sides.
I made a similar article before the CL quarter final saying we stand a chance solely because it's a knockout competition and there's no 2 legs in the Euro's which gives better chance for underdogs.
Its unlikely but as Greece showed you in 2004 we should not even be dismissing Ireland's chances let alone England's.
It can't happen tho, can it?

Trust a scotsman when he says, when you go to a tournament not expecting to win, just have as good a time with every match, win lose or draw.
Anyway, goodluck and I actually mean that. Am going to try and stay as neutral as possible for you guys this year. Who knows, eventually I might even come round to cheering you on, but I wouldnt count on it!

No chance. Even if England fluke their way past France, Ukraine and Sweden they will be torn a new A.Hole by Spain or Italy in the quarters

Do see your point, but I have heard it mentioned by a good few England supporters also.
The more that think it, the more the expectation builds.
Its a hard realisation when you figure out your team is actually cack.

They are awful and if the tournament was a 16 team league then ill fully expect England to finish in the bottom 4 if not bottom, but in a knockout competition, especially one with no 2 legged ties, couple of lucky break's and your laughing.
