Trapattoni

He’s named his starting 11 for the opening game on Sunday against Croatia and barring injuries this will be the same team that starts against Spain and Italy.

Is this a wise move? It’s basically saying to the starting 11, go out and play against Croatia and if you have a shocker, it doesn’t matter because you’re going to start the Spain game too!

What message does this send to the rest of the squad? I don’t care what you do in training or if you impress when brought on from the bench, you won’t start the next game!

Another strange decision from ‘El Duce’!

Doyle ahead of Long

Doyle’s days have to be numbered. He hasn’t played well for club or country in a long time. Long, Walters & Cox look so much sharper when they come on

Trap needs to get his head out of @r5e, why would the rest of the squad bother with international careers if you feel that regardless of whatever you do or how well you might play (or how bad the current 11 is) you wont play??? Where's the logic??? In the last few games its been the subs that have lifted our lethargic performance, plus Walter's pulverised the Estonian's in the 4-0 play off win yet we just go back the same auld, same auld...

Doesn't matter he named his team as we all knew it already

I wouldn't worry too much about it Rover, if Doyle isn't pulling his weight Traps will take him off for either of Long or Walters .
Can't see Mc Clean getting any game time all the same .
