With the union jack flags everywhere, and Stuart Pearce looking to make a Great Britain team, what I want to ask everyone is, if you had the choice of one player from the British nations to play for England who would it be?
For me it would have to be Ryan Giggs. After John Barnes England has not had anybody claim the left wing spot and Giggs would have been ideal from the mid 90s to 2005/06. From the present day players would have loved Gareth Bale to be English.
From the yesteryear players it would have to be Best or Hansen. Who your opinion would you have wanted to be English?
Imagine under Sven when they took the wags Giggs and Terry in the same camp.lol

Naah seriously mate Barry who! From the Scotish players I'd take Kenny Daglish,Hansen,Law or even Gary mac. Really liked Collin Hendry and Colins as wel.

Even if you said DUNCAN Ferguson I could understand. The big man was a handful to say the least. With Barry one good game dont make him great. Jagger for you i'l change it the other way round, who from the other British nations would you have liked playing for Scotland?
