Who will win the FO from here onwards?

We are moving towards the business end of the tournament. Nadal is still favourite to win here however until he wins and more matches to be played it is not a certainity. Nadal might beat federer easily but if he meets Djoko then it could go either way.

People might cite Rome as an example and say that Djoko has now lost the momentum but those six wins last year has given Nole enough belief to defeat Rafa on any given day, even at Rome Novak had the break points and was going toe to toe with Nadal.

If Murray manages to win today then he too will offer strong competition to Nadal, might even snatch a win. Nadal will anihilate Almagro, I just cannot see Almagro coming up with a plan to hurt Nadal. This match will be a repeat of Nadal-Monaco match.

I am still going with Nole to life his 4th slam in a row.

It's pretty safe to safe Djoko v Nadal in teh final. The rest is much less safe.

My ideal final would be Federer v Ferrer. BUt what are the odds on that?

nadal for me, easy pick.

you have to wonder how much Tsonga took out of Novak after yesterdays game.

plus Tsonga you because of your inabilty to put away match points you cost me 55 quid on sky bet!

Apparently he's related to Aquero....

Seriously though, Nole is used to these battles, he will be fine physically in next round.

SO have you put some money on Nadal now?

A Djoko v Nadal final @1.75 on Betfair! That is very very tempting.

no but i will do.

cant complain cos it was a free 10 pound bet on skybet, so it didnt cost me anything, but i would have won 55 quid back had tsonga beat Novak

Nadal must be the favorite but I would not say it is a given. I still think that if Novak faces him in the final (quite likely now) he will have a good shot. Also, if Andy makes it to the SF (a big if) I think he will have a much better chance than what many think. Ferrer looks at times like he may trouble Nadal and he is one of the few players who have positive H2H against Nadal in slams, but I do not think he could do it if he played Rafa.

Yes, I think Nadal's semi might be tougher than thought. The only thing is that he will be quite rested as he is unlikely to have a tough 1/4F compared to Ferrer and Murray.

But I also think Djoko will have a pretty easy semi.

Nadal 2 win French open, without dropping a set, he looks in thee zone, him & Ferrer r thee form players. Federer & Novak av been unconvicing so far, but still, if ur init, u can win it.
