Cardiff city have announced that they have changed their home strip color from blue to red.
Leeds of course did something similar under Revie. Do any of the older fans remember what they thought at the time?
Leicester also changed their strip from blue to white in the 70s in emulation of Leeds, but fan pressure ensure that change only lasted a season.
Have Cardiff sold their soul or if they get the promised investment is this actually a wise move?
Smart move or selling their soul?

Sincerely doubt the owners were going to invest £100 million in the first place.
The fans have been stitched up good 'n' proper.

Oh yes, we're talking about Cardiff aren't we?
Well that's alright then, hope the fans get shafted!

It'd be nearly as funny as the time they believed Ridsdale was going to use season ticket money to fund transfers, if it goes balls up.

Cardiff are at least £15 million in debt and this guy wants to pump in £100 million, which includes new training facilities, academies and expanding the stadium. Without him Cardiff could go bankrupt soon, as there is no other sugar daddy over the horizon for them. There are enough fans of Cardiff who realise that if it means changing the colour of their home shirt to have a future and a prosperous one as well, they are willing to sacrifice the blue home shirt.

plus when they ferk off you can change em back!
my club once played in solid blue shirts for a couple of seasons in the seventies before going back to the stripes!
and leeds played in blue an yellow before revie brought in their brown shirts!

Barca, spot on, just change back when he leaves, but what a lot of other fans do not realise is this guy has already pumped £40 million into Cardiff City and he is a billionaire.

i think due to the investment you have just got to go with it for a while...i mean its your national colour n all and the dragon so at least your keeping the welsh theme...and the away shirts gonna be blue so everyone just buy the away shirt and bluebird flags and ram it down their necks and they will get the message after a coupla years of poor shirt sales!
and premiership footie would sure soften the blow
