Has anyone in the sports history (any sport' history) ever claimed to be after quantity not quality ?? Does it not seem like a totally ridiculous statement to say that, in essence, we want good players instead of lots of mediocore or poor players you don't say Ivan, here we were all worried the club would be signing some more parks, Silvestre' and Bischoffs
And was that what we did when we signed 5 players on deadline day last summer transfer window? Because, despite arteta turning out a very decent buy, and aoc generating lots of hype, it seems a little like quantity over quality to me. Mert and santos are not exactly bad, but when you say we are after quality not quantity I would expect a bit better
So if robin does prolong contract talks or what have you, will we not go for giroud etc as we have pool ski only to lose robin at the beggining of next season as kroenke will finally read his memos, fly over and force through a 20 million sale only for us to search for that quality again with a day left on the transfer
I'm not even really against Ivan, I think he is a little out of depth but really it's Stan and wenger who run things... It's just how silly to state the utter obvious like we want good signings instead of bad ones. The guy could go a long way If he just leveled a bit with us once a year
