The King is dead...Long live the king

So barring a miracle CH is on his way (and who can blame him) , who is gonna be next into the B9 hot seat???
I would rather he went now and we are able to get another manager in fast so he can get to work with whatever is left.
Thanks to CH for giving us great entertainment and attacking football, it was a pleasure while it lasted.
Looking for sensible sugestions from Blues fans, so lets have no mention of Mcjudas,Mad mick, Jose,Pep & Bruce etc etc.
Lets look forward this club is bigger than any Manager. KRO

Cant see us paying any compensation for a Manager so that only gives us the option of going for the unemployed.
As for Phil Brown well sorry but he is just not for me. Not sure that Blues have got a tanning machine anyway.

Maybe a tad optimistic but Gus Poyet? If not him then Di Canio.

Lee Clark
Ray Wilkins
Mick McCarthy
Gianfranco Zola
Gareth Southgate
Glenn Hoddle
Paul Ince
Billy Davies

Massive no to McCarthy, Southgate and Ince - I foresee nothing but failure with all 3. Wilkins is an interesting one, what about Curbishley?

Steve Clarke is an interesting one. Just left Liverpool.
Would he want to become a manager?
Is he just an assistant?
Good record as a coach, maybe he could do a Houghton and transfer his success as a number two (ooh err) to success as a number one?

I know he will probably follow CH to Norwich, but what about our very own no2? It was no coincidence that a month after he joined us, we went on our 15 game unbeaten run! He is a manager in his own right. He could do a decent job as he knows all the players. He might fancy a crack at the job if offered.

Brumsfinest,

Calderwood is going with CH, I believe. Here's a late night suggestion after a few bevvies:

Stevie Carr, anyone?

Carr doesnt strike me as management type he retired once already and didnt get into hasnt done his badges i believe.

Steve clarke and ray wilkins would be a good choice for me and zolas teams play great football, but my prefered choice is king kenny......cunningham that is.

Who cares about experience bredan rogers had no premier league experiene and after one year is now manager of liverpool.

Leader exellent reader of the game and loved by the fans. but the fact he speaks his mind and slaughtered the last board would put our chairman off i think!!!

Theres not really any names we could get that excite me, who knows maybe we will be surprised down to you pannu can you find us another name!

Lee Clark

Lee Clark or as huddersfield fans would call him Alex Mcleish

His tactic is lets not lose, play off final best player jordan rhodes on the bench, lets not lose, more draws than blues and villa under mcleish lets not lose.

Lee Clark - No thanks
