This Sunday Ireland will take to the pitch to play against Croatia in the first of our group games in the Euro 2012 Finals.
Yes after an absence of 10 years we will be taking part in a major International Football tournament.
Our 5th overall and only our second time at the Euro Finals.
The moment we thought we wouldn't see for a long long time (especially during Steve Staunton's reign) will have finally arrived.
And lets not forget we will have a travelling Army of 20,000 fans over in Poland cheering the team on as well !!
COYBIG!!!!
Starting to get nervous!!

IMBACK:
If it wasnt for "Cork and Kerry" the ROI soccer team might be confidently contemplating a place in the Euro semis! Talk about being held back by your so called cultural heritage! No foreign games boys; no competing in competitions for foreign games and no having anything to do with those who do either! Lawdy its laughable! Real stone age stuff! Cant believe it was alowed to go on for all those years. Set Irish sport on the international stage back light years. Wonder what the orginal "Irish games" were before gaelic sports were introduced.
