In other news, 'Arry is considering a move for Birmingham City defender Stephen Carr as cover for the right back position.
''He's a former player, now at pensionable age and with a dubious injury record so he ticks all the right boxes. Oh and he's a triffic bloke - great to have around the club. It's been a while since we stockpiled in that position so I hope this to be the first of a few signings, hopefully we can get Dean Austin back on board too''
