I did have a better first XI with some crap on the bench but then I read the rules more carefully and realised that you can make subs manually during the gameweek so I've gone for a squad of players instead.

Really hard to pick a good all round side!

I also found that you can play a 2-5-3 formation today as well

My subs all play on the 11th so if any of my team underperform I'll just swap them all in on the Monday morning and hope for the best. You can even change captains during the gameweek as well but presumably only to one of your subs.
