Fancy taking a leaf from Swansea's book?

I'm not the happiest person looking at the current situation we find our club in, but what does it cost, to all calm ourselves down and think, in a couple of days time, we could have 2/3 players signed, and things could be looking rosy.

Brendan Rogers is preparing his side for the almost impossibility of surviving the Prem, and they've not let many players go, but they've not brought many in either, so it looks like he's going to have to rely on the squad that got them up, plus 3/4 new additions. Is this phasing Rodgers? Far from it.

The highlight from this story, are the last few lines..

"It is certainly not uncommon for clubs to be well into their pre-season plans and then sign players, which could well be the situation for us.

"I'm happy with the way things are going."

Okay, so we're not Swansea. But everyone knows that sometimes, you just have to get players in, deep into pre-season, and then be forced to make the best of what you've got.

We may have Mark Arthur, a complete tool, who 80% of us hate.

Come 31st August, and we find ourselves in this situation, I'll accept some of the trash that is going on, on most Forest boards at the moment, and join in with it, but for now, why doesn't everyone stay calm, and realise good things come to those who wait.

Routledge, Zenden, Barnes - Rumour after rumour about these guys, who certainly look like they could be on their way to the CG. Look at how different the picture would look, and you'll suddenly see the attitude change in everyone, if these quality players get signed up.

In McClaren, Doughty, Pleat, Pelling and Co, we trust.

In other quite rather interesting news..

It's hard to follow Leicester's example and spend big, especially when you intend paying the full amount rather than 10p in the £ like they do.
