Just like many others of my relative age, I feel so lucky.
I started supporting Chelsea from the 95/96 season when we came 11th. I was soo happy we came 11th as I thought we won our little mini league from the bottom half of the table.
Anyway, I wasn't there for our glory Osgood and really bad days of history.
But since 95/96 I (like you) have seen us go on an epic journey and we have never looked back since.
Being from London I am the envy of most of my rival supported mates.
Tottenham mates: have seen very little success,
Arsenal mates: seen great success but they were a bit too young to appreciate it
Man U mates: have had glorious success but they don't have that enjoyment feeling I do since they are not even from Manchester and have been born into success.
Liverpool mates: pfffft
Its such a great feeling guys. I cant actually believe that we are the PRIDE of London. WOW!!!
I FEEL SO LUCKY

No what is amazing is how continued failure and dissapointment makes Spurs fans so bitter.
Actually it is really not.

To be fair to the Chelsea supporters of a certain age they've seen their team get sold for a quid and in dire dire straits.
Abramovic is injecting money into football, the trickle down effect has affected quite a few clubs already.

It certainly affected Spurs
I would not call getting kicked out of the CL a trickle though

Well to be fair spurs had it in their own hands to finish third.

If that small section of the spurs support would have been a little less arrogant, bleating on about their superiority and making those irritating (like mossy bites) wum attempts on our board, we on our side would not have enjoyed our recent success and ironic jettisoning of our rivals from the CL to such a great extent.
Thank you for making it so much sweeter!

I've been lucky too. I used to support Manchester United until the Invincibles then I changed to Arsenal then to Chelsea after Mourinho came. Every season my team has won the league! Woo!
