I still have concerns about Cook and Trott in the same top 3.But if Cook continues to play the way he has in this series and if Trott can play the way he did yesterday then I wont have any concerns.I think we need to be flexible though if Kieswetter gets out send in KP and if Cook gets out send in Trott.
England ODI and T20I side for next series

Not bad at all Shankey. I would play Trott at four. If Cook and Kieswetter continue to get the innings off aggressively, KP as you rightly said, needs to step up. I would play him at three, knowing Trott can protect the innings at four. Huge fan of Stokes.

Nice teams shanky.
If they continue to play Bell then I would put KP in at six.

I'm sure Pietersen's position in ODI is under scrutiny and his performance in the test series may decide his future in that format.
They will be loath to drop him but the form that Cook, Kieswetter, Trott and Morgan have shown makes him less important.
Stokes was injured 3-4 weeks ago and it was said he would be out for 6 weeks. That would surely make it unlikely for him to be considered until he showed his return to form.
Luke Wright will surely be hard pressed to keep his place in the T20 team.

I'd make a case for Cook to open the batting in T20 he has improved so much. Over the last year he's shown himself to be adaptable to conditions and format, last season he performed well in T20 for Essex. He has also formed a good partnership with Keiswetter
T20
1. Cook
2. Keiswetter
3. Bell
4. Morgan
5. Taylor
6. Stokes
7. Patel
8. Bresnan
9. Swann
10. Anderson
11. Dernbach
I know KP is class but I think theres a case to get these young talented players around the squad and KP might just get the wake up call he needs. Cook would be captain. Broad back Notts for now.
ODI
1.Cook
2.Keiswetter
3.Trott
4.KP
5.Morgab
6.Bell
7.Patel
8.Bresnan
9.Swann
10.Anderson
11.Dernbach
Why change a winning side. KP would need runs or one of the young batman would take his place. Broad would stay out of the side for now. Patel would get a full series to see what he can do.
Bairstow next in line to Keiswetter

KP has been brilliant in T20.If he is to be dropped to give him a wake up call it would be from the ODI squad not the T20 one.
Also Bell at 6 in ODIs is just not going to work.Yes we won the series. But what exactly did Bell do in the series to be immune from exclusion?

I know KPs a T20 talent I wouldnt say brilliant he gets a decent 30 - 40, but we're looking at the next series - I'd like to see Stokes, Taylor etc play for England its only 2 matches KP could have a rest a come back for the odis and we get to see how these players perform at the top level.
I think Bell deserves a good run in the odi side definately another series, he's pure class and I think he just needs to work and adapt his game and mind set for the situations he finds himself in in one day cricket
