except for cup games, so why would he want to sign for us and then sit on the bench for most of the season? like berbatov the prev season joint top scorer barely got a game this season, the fourth striker should be a young reserve player or a young talent possibly like henriquez, i cant see how someone established like lewandowski would want to move unlike guaranteed a starting place
anyone else agree?
our 4th striker not guaranteed games

I don't want Lewandowski. Reading Kagawa's comments on him it doesn't sound like he thinks much of him as a player.

why what does kagawa say about him??

"Lewandowski's game is purely focused on trying to score himself, rather than playing together with his team-mates,"
"There's nothing you can do about that, though. That's simply the type of player he is.
"He has scored 20 times, and I have 13 goals to my name. The only difference is that he doesn't cooperate with other team members.
"I am convinced that he would score more goals if he made better use of me on the pitch."

Why would this guy be 2nd choice?
Welbeck already dislodged two players who scored 20 goals (in the PL, not the Bundasliga)... There is a reason why... It is because he offers a hell of a lot more than most strikers and will likely improve further.
I expect Danny to hit 20 next season and continue with clever assists and short passing moves, as well as defending from the front.

Players do get injured and it`s nice to have a confident back -up.

We've already bought our 4th forward in 10 Kagawa!
