Batts: I do think Gary did very well, It's hard to get the point across when you can't divulge where the info's coming from. I hope by the end of the month things will become much clearer, regarding the club and players.

I laughed, then shook my head earlier when some
on here suggested GC needed to divulge names,
otherwise it was made up. Hilarious. I for one, have
no doubt the feelings of the players are exactly as
stated. And I'd bet the vast majority of the club's
employees are as disillusioned also.

If it was as bad as he said would they not hand transfer request?

Not necessarily blue. Maybe they're at the tipping point between wanting to believe what NW told them and now seeing the inaction. On top of that, NW has been on his Hols. Those players probably want to speak to NW about this mess first. Air their concerns and then, if all is as they believe, hand in their transfer requests.

There's no doubt in my mind that ER is rotting.

Cozer,

Rumours come and go about what is going on at Leeds at the moment
I have it on good authority that Bates definitely wants to sell, but is looking for 80 million when the best offer so far is around half that
Also if a sale is announced it will not happen until July 1st at the earliest
My source is the same person who told me Howson was leaving and Delph was coming on loan way before any internet rumours started so should have a good degree of credibility
Just hope this is the beginning of the end of the most odious chairman in football

Bates was offered £30m from the new QPR owner, Fernandez, a few years back. When he showed him he had the funds Bates doubled it to £60m. The rest is history.

£80m would sound about right based on what he wanted back then. Anyone paying that much would have to then spend another bucket load to get us up.

Project White: I have heard mention that nothing will happen until the end of this month so you could be right. We'll all have to be patient, keep the pressure on Bates and hope he sells.
