There's 2 reasons why I think/hope this wont happen:
1) What the Dortmund manager said.
2) What Kagawa said about him.

Fred who do you think BR will be buying? I heard there's a 30m budget for him, that is pretty much crap in today's market. It won't strengthen your weak areas, and I hear you're after Diame who's on a free. Does that indicate not alot of money can be provided?

Not sure I agree to be honest.
Sidgurdsen(SP?) is pretty much nailed on to join Liverpool for around £7M, they could get a couple of good free agents in Hoilett and Kalou and could spend the further £23M on a quality ST.
This is all theoretical, as they could sell players and have a bigger budget.
As much as I hate to admit it, Liverpool are only 3 players away from seriously challenging the top 4 places.

Just to let you know, Hoilett already signed for a German club.

Ah right. Hadn't heard anything about him for a while so I gathered he was still a free agent.

I expect us to sign Sigurdsson and Diamé (on a free) as back up to Lucas.

Then I think we'll go for a striker, not sure who and perhaps Adam Johnson.

Why are people saying they don't want a player who would improve us.

At the minute we only have Rooney who can score goals. We need another natural goal scorer.

Not necessarily. What if was he asked about 5 different clubs? What's he gonna say? "No", "No", "No", "No comment", "No".....That would give the game away a bit so it makes sense to say "No comment" to all questions about transfers.
