It seems the whole world apart from Chelsea fans hate Terry. He's the butt of everyone's jokes at the moment, including 8 out 10 cats and Alan Carr.
Every non Chelsea fan appears to hate them with a viperous passion. Mainly because of his personality and off the field antics. My point is, is he really that bad?
- Cheated on his wife with an ex team mates ex wife. Not really that bad, seeing as I'd imagine 10% of the world has done something similar.
- The whole 9/11 situation. Which nobody seems to know the true story of what happened and he wasn't alone.
- Racial abuse to Ferdinand. Currently unproven. If found guilty, he is an effing idiot inmy opinion.
All that doesn't seem like enough to hate home as much as people do. I would put it more down to rivalry and jealousy. In my eyes, he is still a legend and leader, who still gives his all for luband country, no matter what abuse he receives.
JT hatred justified?

If you actually look through the posts re JT it’s only a minority of bitter potatoes that have a fixation with Terry, They seem to think because he strayed they now hold some sort of moral high ground.
Personally I couldn’t care less what any player does in their private lives (within reason) as long as it doesn’t affect their performance on the pitch.
I also agree with the posters re role models, I’d like to think my kids look to my wife and I for inspiration and values not someone that plays poxy football

but he keeps standing up on the ramparts, doesnt he ?
He keeps putting himself up there to be shot at.
I think the first time he made a diKc of himself was the door man incident at the Roofgarden club; that was with Jody Morris right?
That was years ago but he just keeps delivering doesnt he?

I don´t care what people say about Terry.
It´s a very sad inditement of society that most people already consider him guilty of racism just because the papers encourage that idea.
When you actually break down the fact of the racism charge it is flimsy to say the least and that is why Terry will be found not guilty.
Ok he probably had an affair with Bridge´s ex partner but I´m sure most of these footballers are doing the same thing. It´s just a case fo who gets caught or not.
Giggs had an affair with his own brother´s wife yet he gets far less flack than Terry.
It´s definitely a Chelsea thing. Ashley Cole gets similar hatred and if you were to ask the haters why he deserves such hate they can´t actually tell you because they don´t know themselves.
The Chelsea-hating media are hugely to blame for subliminally encouraging hatred of Chelsea and whether or not the general public realises it or not they are heavily influenced what to think by the media.
