Now had we lost the Champions League I would not be saying this. But seeing as we ended a dreadful season successfully, just like in most circumstances, you can start to talk about the positives on any aspect.
As a Chief Exec, I’m certainly impressed with how he’s marketing the Chelsea brand. It’s imperative that we are seen as a recognisable club across the globe and we are certainly doing just that.
I’m a massive Formula 1 fan and I’m so pleased that our clubs badge is decorated in a few key areas of the Sauber chassis. That is gigantic exposure, and when you think about us winning the Champions League coupled with the most exciting F1 season we have ever seen thus far, it is a great partnership that Chelsea have created.
And you know what more exposure leads to? More fans, more merchandise sales and more chance we have of meeting those FFP rules.
Well done Ron FOR ONCE

MrC- I agree.
I just find him hilarious.
He'd be so good as a TV character.

Imagine Ron Gourlay in a car chase with Levy- as they both fight to get to Modric's agent first...
Ron wins...but then Levy bribes him off with doughnuts...
and then just see him trying to explain what happened to Roman...whilst sweating uncontrollably....with a krispy kreme bag in hand

What car would Ron drive?

No, Ron would ride a bicycle. He'd wear a helmet 2 sizes too small for him

serious peddle power needed to beat Levy in his range rover
