New shirt

With tonights big unveiling I have a couple of issues...
Why, once Again are we having yet another shirt? What happened to clubs generally keeping them for 2 years? I don't have kids but I do occasionally treat myself to one (sizes permitting!) so if I had kids this can soon add up to some ridiculous expense. Not forgetting shorts, approx £20 and socks £10 ish. So after buying your 1/2/3/4 kits and then 1/2/3/4 season tickets lookin at well over £1000-£2000. Really would be good of the FA got involved and made it so clubs have to keep same kit for 2 seasons. I used to wait eagerly for a new kit but it soon wears thin now with there been 2 new kits a year.

2nd moan. Why on earth is it been unveiled at 21:30 tonight?? Again people with families won't be able to attend at such a late time, I'm 27 and I certainly won't be going to town at that time for a bloody new kit.

Summary: This 'family club' is soon becoming more bothered about the corporate side of things rather than the real people.
Sorry for a long moan just grating on me a little.

Don't buy one then! On a side note, any idea how the season ticket sales are going?

I havn't missed the point, and I agree with the silly half 9 unveiling, simple really for you Herbert, 27 years old, no kids, presumably a job? Go on fork out on a shirt, help the club, i'm sure you can afford it. I don't miss points, i'm no fool, hey did we go up ?

Just had a chat with hydy, we really don't know, like you said earlier the contracts finish on 30th June, the fun starts then. Pelts, Morrison, the new chap from Scotland, if all that comes off our back 5 is sorted !

I do help the club. Not just by purchasing a shirt. Yes, 27 no kids although my wife spends money to make up for lack of kids. Yes I do also work, for the NHS. This moan isn't particulary aimed at time just my rant about football clubs In general.

Only Town could pull people into the Town centre for a kit launch only to get things massively wrong and reveal it online half an hour before those who actually turned up got to see it.

timing...its all about timing..

or the total lack of it..

its a shirt, hooray...its got blue and white stripes and amazingly the shorts have got some more detail on them..

fantastic..

£40 quid...f-ck off... you can buy an acceptable work suit from matalan for that price..

thank god my kids are all either old enough to buy their own or old enough to know better now..

We need to generate more revenue now we are in the Championship. I'll be getting my shirt, although I do believe its too costly. As with tickets, I think that if they were to bring the cost down then more people would buy them, surely seeing 80% of the town fans wandering along in the town colours is preferable especially when profit would be comparable.
