Rangi Chase could go for world record fee

Chase is a quality player, and totally deserved the MoS award last year.

However, he seems to have gone off the boil a bit this season, possibly due to the rather uneven & inconsistent Tigers thus far.

I wouldn't be surprise if Leeds made a late bid, given that they're having a nightmare of a season, and need someone to take the burden off Captain Kev game in game out

Blimey Mr Moran is flashing his cash... 300k for Chase, 6 figure sum for Bateman at Bradford..... do Wire have a salary cap? and how many quality halves do they need??

Transfer fees are not part of the cap. Signing-on fees, paid to the player, are however, But not sure how they are applied, possibly averaged out over the term of the initial contract.
