Fabianski could easily be the best in the league, and therefore in contention for best in the world, according to Arsene Wenger.
“Let me surprise you: Łukasz Fabiański could become the best goalkeeper in the Premier League, even better than Wojtek (Wojciech) Szczęsny. He has incredible skills and dynamics.
“His problem is psychological – he relives his every mistake or bench time. I was hoping that Euro 2012 might help him; his injury is a great misfortune."

Fabianski Could Be Better Than Szczesny

Its clear to see Fabianski has better all round abilities than Chensey.
-----------------------------------
Is it really? How? What are these all round abilities? He can't kick, his touch is awful, his shot stopping is ok but not better than shezzas, he cant catch, he is no where near commadning enough, he is always bricking himself looking like a deer caught in the headlights.
Christ, you chat so much poo.

both fabianski and sceszney are overrated by us Arsenal fans!!
Fabianski is just plain poor
Szcesney has potential but has unfortunately been given too much too soon which has lead to him buying into the wenger hype and start making mistakes.
We need a goalie who can challenge him for his place in the team to incentivise him to improve his game and keep his mouth closed.
Otherwise he'll end up like Bendtner

Fabniaski is not a bad keeper, but his confidence to trust what he can do is awful, so sometimes he reads a situation wrong and makes blooper errors.

He has neither 'mental strength' or height. I've seen nothing that would convince me this will come true. Unless that hypnotist guy kicks in

Wow, one of the strangest things I have ever heard Wenger say. Fabianski is an extremely average goalkeeper. When in form he is a great shot stopper, but that is all he is ever going to be.

Bet we will get Stu Taylor back off City as back up

In my opinion Szczesny's biggest assetts are the fact that he can get back up and dust himself off after a mistake without it affecting him for long and that he can identify his faults and works hard on them (admittedly this is mainly based on how hard he worked to improve his kicking, but at least he wasn't completely oblivious to the problem and isn't as arrogant enough to just ignore it, like some people suggest).

He's shot stopping is excellent, better kicking than Chensey, but Chesney is better at comanding and organising.
Basically Fabianski fundamentally is a better keeper than Chesney. But as I said Chesney's mental games and confidence is something that is valued more over long term, he's gonna improve.

if you combined fabianski's technique AND decision-making with szczesny's height and resilience, you'd have the best keeper on the planet.
technically, fabianski is as good a goalkeeper as i've ever seen. but he's fragile mentally.
on the other hand, szczesny's technique is very poor, and he mostly acts on instinct. he's got great confidence, which means he does well most of the time, but his unpolished technique means he concedes saveable goals.
