He was very quick as a youngster, which is why he started out as a second striker.

His brain is still quicker than most though, and that's what keeps him above most other footballers.

Howard webb did a good job tonight- I think he messes up in EPL matches because the pace is so frantic

And in World Cup finals, because he looks out for tackles to the ankles and therefore misses the ones to the chest.

I said we should have signed him 2 years a go but everyone kept saying he is too old and past it. Now 2 years on he is still Italy’s best player. Should have got him and sent Essien the other way
