Oh no, George Williams has gone. Originally I thought the club had sold him but apparently he didn't want to stay. Good luck to him, I hope he gets on the Fulham bench in the next 5 years, the ungrateful little .....

I can't blame really although the club was a bit naive playing him in the 1st team at his age and I guess that also gave him the confidence he could hack it at a premiership club. It means we have lost another striker.

How many 16yr olds at Fulham will actually make the 1st team, maybe one. Sorry to say I dont think that will be George and in a few years time he will be playing semi pro.Sadly these agents are only interested in a quick buck and dont always have the players best interests at heart.

Dartford, I totally agree, had he stayed he would have had a good chance of getting some League 1 Football, he has np chance of Permiership football for at least 3 years.
Perhaps in a couple of years he can sue his agent for ruining his career

Totaly agree no wonder the England team is going nowhere.
Good youth team players are leaving lower league clubs for bigger clubs with no chance of playing, if they stayed at a lower level they could get a few games.
In my opinion each club should only be allowed a certain amount of players, I believe the lad had been with us for about 7 years so thats 7 years wasted.

If I were him, having played and scored already i'd be all over for a move to Fulham. Yes, I'd think I am better than i am but you can't fault him moving to a club like Fulham in a LEague like the Premiership!
Maybe he won't play but he'll improve his game, come through a competitive reserve level too!
I can't fault him for leaving tbh, and some of the fans have been a little harsh to him! Nobody's slated Sheyi for his move, can anyone realistically see him being near the first team in 5 years?

I can't fault him and its his decision, but would I want him back on loan? I don't think so.

I watched Fulham youth play Posh youth last season in the latter stages of the FA youth cup, and I must say I was very impressed with their team, close controlled football seems to be the philosophy there and I would imagine that quite a few will make it through to a higher level.
