Would be a good signing, however i would still like a permanent striker, like Cody Mcdonald from Norwich.

That rumour was floating about last year.

Howard is just a slower version of Madine, well past it.

I would go for a loan deal for Aaron McLean from Hull who I don't think gets a game there.

Its hard to think of anyone we could get down to this level. Maybe Pablo Counago or Craig Fagan, who are both available on a free transfer?

Fagan would be a decent signing at this level is he has realistic wage demands.

Fagan would want more in wages than Mellor so I would prefer Mellor.

I suppose it depends if they are talking to other clubs at the same time. If Wednesday were the only interested party in Fagan then I think we could afford him. Although i'm sure he would expect to be top earner at the club and I personally don't think he's worth it.

Counago is not what we need either.
