If I buy a house that has been repossesed through the owner going
bankrupt (insolvent) and I then apply for a loan to buy a new car the
credit checks will come back with the previous owners misdemeanor.
This would be part of the HISTORY of the house which will always remain
as long as the house is saleable. Re: Rangers FC as in the club not the business.

As said already. Lets see what's engraved on the next cup or 3rd division win Rangers manage.
The football authorities have no doubt that Rangers "newco" can be punished for the "oldco" 's transgresions.
As much as you'd like it both ways, either the newco is new and has no history, or punishment. Or they are the same Rangers you don't like, and still open to the punishment the SFA are about to decide.

Look Chicco, I am the same as you. I want clarification
on Rangers FC's position,as far as the history goes.
But as you have proven you haven't a clue what the legal position is.

I still don't see how taking really bad tax advice is cheating, and its not even been proven it was bad tax advice yet after a long time and many investigations.
If you employ guys to give you advice on tax, and you take their advice, it's cheating when or if they were wrong?

Rangers keep their history.
Look at this example from outside of football.
=========================
Clinton Cards wins a Consumer award in 2011.
In 2012 Clinton Cards goes into admin.
Clinton cards assets are bought by an american firm, leaving the old corporate shell to be liquidated.
The american company keeps the clinton brand operating on the high street, not changing the brand, therefor keeping the value of the goodwill.
Clinton cards can still display that it won a consumer award legally, even though it is not the same company.
This is an example of how the historical achievements of the 'business' are different from those of the 'company'.

I have over the years taken advice from umbrella companies and accountancy companies.
Now I pay them money to sort my tax,vat & ni If the tax man came looking for me because of their incompetency I wouldn't be happy.

You wouldn't be happy but it would still be you that hadn't paid it!

Aye, I don't think many people are happy at Rangers, but its still a stretch to say taking bad tax advice is cheating.
