....are almost as memorable as tennis matches themselves.
It's as if a tennis tournament is not complete without one!
Today, even blood was drawn after the poor linesman ended up on the wrong side of Nalbandian's frustration.
Who can forget the memorable: YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS! the ultimate in tennis tantrums....
or Serena Williams' threatening to shove the ball down the lines woman's throat, or Dr Misha banging his head with the racquet so hard he bled...
Bagdhatis smashing those 4 racquets in one go wasn't bad either!
Are those tantrums really necessary?
Some players claim they "feel" better after them and can refocus on the match.
Some use them as gamesmanship.
Some just self-destruct.

Mcenroe was the only one who seemed to thrive on that, i.e. almost as a tactic to throw opponents.
I'm not an exponent of violence but it would have been nice if a Tanner or Karlovic sized opponent just walked over to Mcenroe and told him to shut his potty mouth.

Nalbandian's points for the London/Queens are showing as 0 in the atp rankings. Does he not get the 150 points for reaching the finals?

No he doesn't. The money and points are all gone...plus $10k fine.
It's a bit cruel. He entertained in teh previous rounds and I think it's a bot unfair not to pay him at least till the semi included.
