Reports on twitter are that Tom Maynard the 23 year old Surrey & England Lions batsman was killed by after being hit by a tube after playing in the Friends Life T20 match against Kent at The Oval yesterday.
I am so shocked & deeply saddened by this news & my thoughts go out to his family, fiends & teammates.
R.I.P Tom Maynard, you were a fantastic young talent & i hope you're in a better place now

my friend commited suicide, by getting hit by a train and same with robert enke too, its such an awful thing to think about especially when you look at his age and how much talent he had rip tom maynard

Absolutely devastating to hear about this. He had so much promise as well
I can't believe that it's also my local underground station - one I use on a regular basis. Each time I'm at that platform I'll remember him. RIP
