They’re out – first six games now to digest. And we have:
Opening day 18th August
Reading v Stoke City
25th August
Sunderland v Reading
1st September
Chelsea v Reading
15th September
Reading v Spurs
22nd September
WBA v Reading
29th September
Newcastle v Reading
So how many points from those ? Not easy games, but then what are now?
I’m optimistically going for a sequence of W-D-L-D-W-D, giving 9 points.
Your views (especially Royals fans …)?
How do you see first SIX games?

Just like it would have been for Wigan to beat Man Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool last season and Swansea and Sunderland to beat Man City, oh wait...

Sunderland didnt beat Man City, and Spurs always start strong a new team would definitely struggle.
However dont let your blip slow you down, everyone struggles against the big dogs

Sunderland definitely did beat Man City last season. That Ji scored a last minute winner I do believe.
And yes, Spurs always start strong like last season when they got hammered 5-1 at their own place by City and 3-0 at Old Trafford. Of course.

I know Sunderland did, I was just teasing.
2 losses out of 13, thats just a terrible start innit

2 losses out of 3 is though.
And yeah, of course you knew, that's why you said they didn't.

Do they count as real games? Top 2 teams in the league when our team was in turmoil (which it isnt this season).
Do try to kep up please

Yes they count as real games.
Just because you lost them badly doesn't mean they don't count.
And I'd hardly call it 'you were in turmoil' either.

Well we had to play Niko Kranjcar in midfield due to our depleted squad, the other CM may or may not have wanted to be at the club, club morale was down. AND every other team had played a game before us. Hardly a dream start is it?

Reading should beat Spurs comfortably
Easy 3 points at WHL

You still can't say that they aren't real games either way.
I don't think Reading will beat Spurs but it is definitely possible.
