I'm sure over the next few days we will hear talk from Trapatonni, Tardelli,John Delaney and the Irish squad about how they are gutted about the fact that they let the thousands of Irish fans who travelled to Poland and the few million of us watching at home down!!
And rightly so an apology of some sort is definitely appropiate in the circumstances.
Well what about this for an idea Mr Trapatonni.
We have a friendly coming up in August (our only match in fact before the WC Qualifiers!!!).
Why not use this match to give the following players a run out.
Seamus Coleman
Ciaran Clark
James Mc Clean
James Mc Carthy
and maybe even the Norwich duo of Hoolohan and Pilkington!!!
Surely these players could add something to the team. And drop Ward , St ledger and Whelan!!
