Pundits?

Just watching you're on sky sports and was curious to thinking who is everyone's favourite and least favourite pundit and why?

Favourite- Gary Neville, can't believe i am saying this. But he has kept his club rivalries aside and been a really insightful pundit, giving a balanced view with good tactical analysis.

Least favourite- Robbie Savage, jumps no to many bandwagons in my opinion, and no matter what he is talking about, he will manage to have a dig at Liverpool in there somewhere.

What about everyone else's?

Admins, can you multi board this please

Roy Keane was my footballing hero growing up, absolutely loved the guy. But my God he is hard to watch as a pundit. I never really disagree with what he's saying but a lot of the time I disagree with how he says it if you understand??

Let's just say I couldn't imagine Roy being a caring and understanding father. Nothing would ever be good enough and he would never hesitate to let the child know. Images of him screaming at a 6 month old baby to clean his own effing ass readily spring to mind.

Chillax Roy!!!

Anyone else notice that Mark Bright says "y'know" at least once every two sentences? No Mr Bright, I don't know.

For Sky - Gullit, Neville and Souness are my favourites
BBC - Seedorf has been excellent covering the euros
ITV - Keane's honesty is funny to listen to

I quite like Stan Collymore on talksport as well

Just general TV people that I cannot stand are Mark Lawrenson, John Motson, Adrian Chiles, Andy Townsend, Clive Tyldesly, John Aldridge.

Mark Lawrenson is more concerned with his 'funny' one liners then talking sense.

In fact, I have a lot of beef with the ex LFC players because they just think they're right all the time and that their way (which was successful in that era) is the right way to play now.

I am glad i am not the one only who thinks Robbie Savage is just an empty vessel: his football knowledge is non-existent. It is shocking, he gets that much attention.

lan Shearer is another oaf: big head, little brain. In fact, this is the nadir as far as football punditry is concerned. There are several hapless hacks out there.

That being said, G. Neville has been a revelation and long may it continue - though i think the novelty would wear off and he will begin to annoy people again

Lee Dixon is the best pundit on the Beeb - shame they dont use him much and they still keep him on the 'B' team.

Hansen is steady but unspectacular. Visiting pundits i.e Martinez, Seedorf, Benitez, Viera, Keane and even Carragher (even with the incoherent accent) have been quite good.

Neville is my favourite. Really like Martinez as well. Very technical in analysing the game, as opposed to using idiotic cliches
Too many idiots there though. How do Garth Crooks and Mark Bright ever get a chance to be commentatos. They are awful and moronic beyond belief Also hate Hansen's smugness and all round douchbaggery as well as Lawro's utter cluelessness. Carragher has actually been fairly decent.
Savage is such an idiot that he forgot the name of the team he was analysing once

Garth Crooks & clueless Lawro wind me off the clock & if Alan 'I could put a glass eye to sleep' Smith is co-commenting I turn the sound off, as he's the most boring man on the planet & his comments are inane.

I think Neville is developing into a very good pundit, albeit I think his new England role might temper his honesty next season.

Steve Claridge usually speaks sense as well.
