Having seen Danny Boyles play list for the Olympics including such greats as The Jam, The S ex Pistols, David Bowie & the theme from Dr Who it got me thinking that each event should adopt a tune of their own. For example:
The Marathon - Keep On Running (Spencer Davis Group)
Pole Vault - The Only Is Up (Yazz & her plastic population)
Never mind individual events, theres around 35 or so categories so SPL members & Newco Kids on the Block what tunes can you come up with and to which event:
