OP you are dead wrong and are showing your ignorance. Blatter has been behind goal line tech since about 2005. The reason it hasn't yet been implemented is because they don't have a perfect system yet.

Perfect system? Don't other sports already use similar tech? I'm pretty sure the technology has been around for ages

There have been for about 5 years, the whole issue is that everybody knows it is readily available, every single FA in Europe is happy with the technology being offered, FIFA are not.

Nonsense.

In 2010 IFAB who decide on law changes to the game voted against goal line tech as 10 different systems had failed to meet standards in tests.

After that Blatter himself commissioned more testing and is presently whittling down the options. In December 2011 he was hoping that it could be introduced in the 2012/13 season but reckons that ios a little too optimisitic.

A little research into a topic goes a long way to help you not look ignorant when you spout the usual tabloid group speak.

You are the one talking out your backside. Blatter has been behind it for a year, maybe two, but purely because of the overwhelming majority of people in football who are behind it, as the above statement proves. I have also read in the past that he believes football should be the same on all levels, be is children on a Sunday or the WC Final, which is quite frankly, ludicrous considering what is at stake at the highest level.

And the technology has been there for years now, do you not watch any other sports? It really isn’t a difficult concept, a chip in a ball and a sensor on the goal line.
