As their is a lack of top quality right backs in world football at the moment, i was wondering if we could convert Ramires into a right back afterall he put on a man of the match performance in that positon, against barcelona he played very well there after the sending off, he even scored whilst playing in that position, i think he posesses the qualities to be a top player in that position (Good tackler, High enery levels can run up and down that flank for 90mins although he would have to improve on his crossess into the box that would be the only negetive i can see) this would then leave a spot in the double-pivot position for a deep lying playmaker like Modric, with our startin 11 now looking like this :
------------------------------cech----------------------------------------
Ramires-------Luiz----------------------------Terry----------------A. Cole--
--------------------Romeu--------------Modric------------------------------
-------Mata-------------------Jovetic----------------Hazard------------
--------------------------------Torres----------------------------------
I think this is a superb well balanced attacking team, what do my fellow chelsea fans think?? This would be mybe my perfect chelsea starting 11, thoughts guyz
Ramires as a right back? - Just a thought.

No.
We need another RB to compete with Ivanovic

Blue Blood - I actually think it's a good idea. He can play there, and has the energy speed and fitness to attack and provide overlapping support down the wing. I like it.

Can Hazard defend?

Hazard sure can defend If necessary
Ramires will have to have some serious training at RB to be backup to Ivanovic,It just wont work and It's not worth It better to get a natural RB who can rotate/compete with Ivanovic.
Ramires talents will just be wasted at RB as he will look out of depth in that position.
There is a reason why he was pushed further forward from RB into midfield at a young age

Diarra did a great job for us at right back.
I don't think Ramires should be seen as a back up right back, but not a bad option to have in case of emergencies

Emergency Right-Back? Yes
1st or 2nd choice RB? No

There is talk of Ivan being lured away...but it's just talk...in saying that re ramires - not a bad shout actually
My preference would actually be either Luiz or Cahill - if Ivan should go
so our back 4 as a default should be Cahill JT Luiz Ash
my other option would be to buy Micah Richards
