Which is the greatest of the 3

Part 1 - classic
Part 2 - pretty good
Part 3 - very poor blatant attempt to make more money out of the story.

Part 2 for me

Not often that a sequel surpasses it`s original. Godfather part 2 for me.

The Godfather for me is a 100% film.

The godfather part 2 is about 98, about as close to perfection as you're going to get but not quite as good as the original.

Can I put in a cheeky shout for Once Upon A Time In America?

Good film, very good film. But not as good as the other 2. It was a little bit slow. And I think it would have been better had it been released like the director wanted it to be.

The music does it for me, StrettyEnd. Absolutely magical.

How that for 20 odd years he wouldnt know that he was governor, surely he had a TV or read newspaper or something.

Also didnt like how they turned on each other leading up to it.

But the first couple of hours were great. Its a brilliant tragedy story.

Yep, I definitely prefer the parts where they're all younger and they're all mates. Very moving film.

Same as Goodfellas actually – the first half is absolutely brilliant, when they're all together and on top of the world. I don't like it as much once they fall out and turn on each other.

Funny that 30 odd years before it happened they managed to make de niro look like the old man he would one day become.

Agree about goodfella's aswell. Thinking about it, maybe thats why I am such a fan of the godfather films because they dont end like that.
