Seems like this is the plan when you consider that we've sold 2 players for cash in Spurr and Morrison, removed Potter, Teale and Miller (who will have been on decent money) from the wage bill along with Hinds and still can't find the money for Mellor's wages.
I think it's sensible for MM not to be throwing cash around willy nilly but it does make one wonder why, if we could pay Mellor's wages when £20m+ in debt 12 months ago, we can't afford them now? I guess we probably couldn't really afford them last year but we managed to pay him until January..
On the other hand, Madine and Morrison up front for every game should be a good partnership; given their injury and off-field problems, though, how likely is this to happen...?

If you can't handle a little debate then you're on the wrong website! I questioned your argument re Mellor, that was all.
No 'rag' week about it! It seems you're the one who can't handle having their opinion differed or you wouldn't be crying about it the day after!

I can accept views but if I disagree with them then I'll argue them.........I thought that was this site was all about, debate & discussion.
To clarify yesterday, I have no problem if you don't want Mellor back, none at all. I would like him back but at the same time if he doesn't come back then it's not the end of the world. My argument was your reasoning didn't make sense (to me) so I was questioning it. I even agreed that I'd like us to take a look at MacDonald but you seem to have conveniently forgotten that bit.

I seem to recall it was you that had your knickers twisted yesterday, Normally i find you a mellow charactor, but yesterday you were quite arrogent, which was unusual for you.
My reasoning made sense to me, as i feel Mellor should have put a little bit more effort in to staying in the team. Megosn dropped him for this reason.
