Silent Hill

Sad as this was truly the best horror series out at one point. I don't understand why it stopped receiving a strong backing.

Silent Hill 1 and 2 were excellent and bloody creepy. Pyramid Head in 2 was nightmare fuel.

Japanese companies have been farming out a lot of their games to crappy Western no-name developers in an attempt to appeal more to Western buyers but in doing that have ruined many really good games.

Sequel to the Silent Hill movie is coming out this year I think.

You think Silent Hill is scary!!!!??? Pfft its not a patch on Aliens vs Predator on the PC.

The latest game released for consoles (Downpour) is so frustrating. Not due to the puzzles etc but because it could have been such a decent game. I finished it but only because I'm a person that will slog through something to the end.

I'm exactly the se way Ezio. Only reason I finished Ghost Recon.

I still want to give each Silent Hill after 2 a go. I really miss the feeling and atmosphere in from the game. I'm currently enjoying Deus Ex for a second time. Love the world they create.

Looking forward to Resident Evil 6. I hope they live up to my hopes for it.

RtM how did you find the new Deus Ex? I really enjoyed the game but felt that the boss fights were just added on for no reason and cheapened the game.

The new Deus Ex was great. You're spot on about the boss fights, they were shoehorned in and totally contrasted the entire point of the game for me which was trying to be a stealthy little git.

I agree with both of you. Love the game to bits but could've done with the often infuriating boss fights.

Invisible woman

I found the last boss funny. I spent ages trying to kill it until I found out that it could be done quickly if you turned on cloak, ran at the boss and used your laser to shoot through the shield easily.
