sorry dc, you're wrong on two levels. as much as love fish and chips for me its got to be haddock. the cod get the batter too wet sir. also i reckon you haven't given it the respect it deserves a accompanied it with real chips. see my dinner had good balance to, which unfortunately would go all wrong if i swapped some of my broccoli for peas. FACTS

i applaud you on the real chips sir. yes cod does carry a heavier flavor but sorry haddock for me. fillet of seabass nae bones.

balance doesn't rule out rustic. even some rustic classic have great balance. dc try some chorizo with your seabass or some pancetta.
i have fueng shued my chair to point at the telly.
