This clearly takes into consideration goals scored which is why Mellberg is the 4th "best player". Ronaldo is top because he's scored more goals. Iniesta hasn't scored any goals but is only 0.31 less a player than Ronaldo according to this. So what more has Iniesta done on the pitch in comparison to Ronaldo to be only .31 behind.

Inbra - 0.45 of a "lesser" player. And so on.

May I suggest you actually watch football than read stats.
