At this moment he probably see's it as the worst job in Football. He knew players would have to be sold to balance the books, but with a chairman in jail and players going for less than their market valuation with him not having the funds to build the squad he wants, he probably wishes he hadn't taken the job now.

I don't believe our squad's been decimated YET!We have offloaded most of our overpaid journeymen,Bentley,Bowyer,Ferguson,Zigic,Hleb to name a few!
I don't believe too many fans would have been sad to see most,if not all of these go.
Zigic spent far longer on the treatment table than he needed to,while collecting 50k/week,Bowyer really is coming to the end of his career,as his strange and at the very best sideways move to Ipswich!
Plus on reflection,having failed to deceive the season before last,I don't believe Barry Ferguson is good enough for the Premier League.
As for Hleb and Bentley,the less said the better!All subjective,all my opinion but there you go,as another poster mentioned come back when the dust settles and we'll be in a better position to tell you!

I agree that most of the players leaving is not a bad thing, I said this was bound to happen last season when I said we would have a massive clearout through age mainley, I never thought about relegation as well.

Apart from Carr and Beausejour we will have no one left IMO, dont get much more decimated than that IMO!!!!
The only player I would have defo kept and stupid McJudas got rid of him was KP. He could be world class coming off the bench in this division.

On reflection though,Gardner's also gone,if we lose Foster,Dann,Johnson,Ridgewell,Carr & Jerome opening the dictionary at "decimated" will probably find a picture of our club's logo looking right at you!

Not wumming guys, just wanted your opinion. Losing Gardner is a blow and you must admit that your two centre halves are quality and have attracted a lot of interest. I've got a lot of respect for CH and think he will do well. Wish you all the best for the coming season.

At the moment we have good options up front (may need to buy someone decent of Jerome goes), we have lots on the wings (again so long as Beau stays), and in centre mid (so long as we keep Michel Fergie & Fahey). I think we need another CB now to partner Davies (Assuming Dann goes). So we are OK so long as we keep most of the rest of the players ... if we start losing the like sof Michel, Fergie, Jerome, Beau then I think we are decimated.

If we lose 2-3 of 25 players then the sqaud is Decimated, well we are doomed because we have lost 1/3rd

Well its all speculation.

Look we had a lot of doom and gloom last 2 times we was relegated and saw the likes of Pennant, Heskey then Muamba go etc etc.

Untill we see the sqaud we have come September 1st then we can pass a judgement to our chances.
