KICK OFF THE WHISTLES BLOW AROUND THE GROUNDS, WE ARE UNDERWAY

1 Min: Early chance for for Valencia, Luisao launches a long ball up to Huntelaar, who controls brilliantly, but his shot is weak and goes strait to Stekelnburg

3 Mins:- Lyon burst forward down the left through Vucinic, but Kelly puts in a well timed tackle to stop any danger coming from the wideman..Vidal puts in the first crunching tackle of the day as he stops Reus in his tracks..

5 Mins:- Papa stops Lyon taking an early lead with a well timed tackle on Lamela after great buikld up play by Gonalons and Cavani..
Liverpool also come close to breaking the deadlock but a Ganso long range effort goes just over

7 Mins:- Juventus take the lead, Gaitan with a superb corner in, Dzeko is up highest and powers home a header leaving Reina with no chance...

9 Mins:- Schalke now Debuchy takesit down the right, plays aneat one-two with Vidal, Debuchy gets it down to Dzagoev who beats Jansen, he drives into the box and Giovinco has come in from the left to meet the cross and he slots it past Stegen to give them the lead.

11 Mins:- Leverkuesen playing the ball about but with no end product as Carrolll looking slow today, PSG come forward but Nene well tackled by Pereira, Leverkuesen have a chance through Drogba put he blazes over

13 Mins:- the goals are coming quickly, this time its a shock lead for Valencia, route one football, Luisao again with the high ball to Huntelaar, this time he lays it off to strike partner Doumbia, but hios shot is well saved by Stekelenburg, but he could only pary it out and its Suarez there on the edge of the box to stick it in the top cotrner with Stek stranded..

15 Min:- Juan is going crazy on the line, he is being warned by the 4th official to calm down

17 Mins:- Napoli are playiong some nice football but cant get it up to Falcao who is looking frustrated...Alves pulls off a good save for Schalke from Reus..

19 Mins:- first of the day and its gone to Papa, he came to the edge of the box to meet a high ball against Cavani, but his elbows were flying and he got Cavani square in the kisser, he has gone down like a girl which didnt help Papa who is rightly booked

21 Mins:- PSG staring to look dangerous, through Hamsik and Pastore, they dance their way round A.Diarra, get it to Negredo but a finger tip save by Akinfeev keeps Valencia ahead

24 Mins:- A great chance for Rossi, he is one on one with Lloris, after superbly beating Godin, Lloris comes out to meet him and Rossi goes roubnd him, but with Mbia coming back he hits it early and it hits the top of the bar, what a miss by the striker...he looks red faced with that effort..

27 Mins:- Schalke take a 2 - 0 lead Vidal breaking up play in the middle, Modric picking it up, he plays a first time ball through to Cisse, he doesnt need a second chance as he turns and fires it passed Stegen for a truely wonderful goal..

30 Mins:- the second of the day Banega showing his frustrations at his team mates by putting in a late challenge on Modric, its a bad challenge and Modric is struggling, Banega lucky not to see Red this time, better be careful

33 Mins:- Valencia and PSG is starting to become a bit dull with neither team doing much in the final 3rd, Lyon slightly on top over Newcastle, Leverkuesen just cant seem to get it up to Drogba and Falcao still looking frustrated at Napoli..Juventus go close through Dzeko again and Schalke dominating for now

35 Mins:- Liverpool get a chance and its a powerful drive from Gerrard, Lucas picks up from Agger and pushes it forward toPato who cleverly plays it back, Gerrard rushes onto it but it goes just wide

37 Mins:- Mvila is late with that one as Valero holds onto the ball too long Mvila goes in just as he passes, its too late and Valero goes down quicker than a hooker in Thailand, Mvila into the book...

38 Mins:- Moechengladbach pull one back Nordveidt steals it from Modric who is still not recovered, he plays it out wide to Herrmann, he drives passed Alba to the bye line and crosses in Derdiyok is their unmarked and he headers passed Alves

41 Mins:- Liverpool go close again as they are coming more into the game neat play from, Ramirez to Ganso, he sets up Pato but he takes too long and Buffon comes rushing out to gather at his feet..

43 Mins:- another yellow card for Newcastle, Azpilicueta goes into the book, Lacazette also goes ionto the book for Lyon as the two square off, somthing must have been said as the ball is nowhere near them..

44 Mins:- Juventus go so close to doubling their lead, Gaitan is taken down on the edge of the box by Johnson, Pirlo steps up to take the freekick but its inches over the bar

HALF TIME AROUND THE GROUNDS

team are out and the Ref kicks off again...

46 Mins:- Some stern words been said by fan as PSG are quick out the blocks, Nene cuts in form the left and tries his luck from the edge of the box but well saved by Akinfeev

48 Mins:- Liverpool also start brightly, Jovetic to Pato and back to Jovetic he beats Maggio fires it in but Pato headers weakly at Buffon who gathers easily

50 Mins:- Cavani for Lyon, a lovely touch by th striker takes him passed Howedes after a lovely ball by Lamela, heis through on goal and he drills it low to Kruls left to give Lyon the lead

52 Mins:- Newcastle go close to equalizing but another tame effort by Rossi sees Lloris claim easily..

54 Mins:- Valencia playing about at the back and it could be dangerous for them as one loose pass could see them lose a goal, Motta tries from range but goes over the bar for Juve...Schalke remain on top and Alba sees a rare run into the Gladbach area come to nothing tho, Leverkeusen close to breaking the deadlock but Drogbas header is just over

56 Mins:- Falcao gets his best chance of the game, set free by Asamoah, he runs at the Leverkuesen defense, just about to pull the trigger and Bonucci comes in with alast ditch tackel to prevent them going behind

59 Mins:- Looks like their is some movement from the dugouts as teams prepare to make some subs

60 Mins:- Casemiro for Pepe, Flamini for Hernanes for Newcastle and Juventus

63 Mins:- PSG are becoming a bigger threat to Valencia as Pastore dances his way round Diarra and plays Negredo through but the hitman shoots straight at Akinfeev, Cavani close fo Lyon, Drogba fires wide, cisse goes close and Banega not looking happy

66 Mins:- Lyon make two subs, Cavani and Gonalons off for Soldado and Fofana

68 Mins:- the subs have niot worked in his favour tho, as Casemiro rips the ball from Fofana, he passes wide to Muniain, he gets down the line and cuts inside, Rossi is in plenty space but he chooses to ignore him and go himself, he goes passed Mbia andleaves Godin for dead as he rifles home an unstoppable shot...what a goal

70 Mins: Subs around the grounds..Ba > Marchisio, menez > Veloso, Neustadter, Krasic > Carroll, Herrmann, Lennon and Gamiero on for Ramirez and Ganso

72 Mins:- Schalke appear to be settling for a 2-1 win but are getting careless as Krasic takes the ball down the line, he fires in but hios cross is just too strong

74 Mins:- Finally the deadlock is broken, the sub appears to have work for TopLad, as Menez powers down the line and plays a neat one two with Lavezzi, Menez drives in and again passes to lavezzi who has created alot of space for himself, he flicks it up and volleys it passed Adler who is left stranded

75 Mins Game on at the Mestalla as PSG finally get what they probably deserve, MVila passes through to Ba who slides it to Negredo he rounds the keeper and nestles it in the bottom corner for the equalizer

73 Mins Dante, Cannavaro, Godin

76 Mins:- superb from Pato as Liverpool score, he has worked this one himself, he takes it from a Gerrard through ball he turns N'Koulou and shoots passed Buffon to get Liverpool back into it

78 Mins:- PSG well on top as they go looking for the winner, Gladbach desperately trying to get the ball from Schalke, Napoli happy to play keep ball, Juventus looking pretty angry they never put this game away...Falcao strutting his stuff, was he worth the hefty pricetag???

80 Mins:- Schalke seem to have settled for a 2-1 win as Metzelder comes on for Lucas

82 Mins;- PENALTY TO LYON

83 Mins:- Tv replays show Howedes bring down Soldado in the box, seems a soft penalty but Soldado was just about to shoot and he had his standing leg taken from him, Soldado steps up himself..

83 Mins Soldado scores, he cooly slots the penalty passed Krul to give Lyon the lead once more

84 Mins:- A late corner for Leverkuesen sees Bonucci and Barzagli both go up, is crossed in by Navas and it the big Italian CB Bonucci who rises above everyone else to power home a great leveller

86 Mins:- a great goal by Hamsik, he worked it well with Der Wiel, he cutsinside and uses Demba Ba, Ba holds off Coloccini and lays it back to Hamsik, he blasts one into the postage stamp passed Akinfeev for what could be the winner

88 Mins:- not long left as Newcastle, Valencia and Gladbach all pile forward looking for the last minute goal to see them try and nick a point, Newcatle go very close through Eriksen, but goes just wide, Valencia have a go and Doumbia uses his pace to get passed Rami but his next touch is poor, Banega tries from range but goes over

91 Mins:- Late drama at Schalke, a corner to Gladbach sees Stegen come up, the corner comes in and it is Stegen who rises the highest, Alves saves tho and with Cisse up top, all Alves has to do is punt it up, Cisse has an open goal and walks it into the net game over 3-1
