Before its too late I think its time for Mclaren to put all their support behind Hamilton if they have any chance of winning the WDC! Button will be back next season and if he finds himself in a similar situation, then he should get the full backing!

He's been back and then banned twice in the last few weeks (that I've seen).
You can spot him quite easily

Anyways until its mathematically impossible for Jenson to win the title McLaren will not favor 1 driver over another, if you've watched Formula 1 for longer than 4 and a bit years you'd understand this
------------------------------------
So Ferrari don't favour any driver from the start? Doesn't matter what McLaren do, the day Twitmarsh becomes constructors champion is the day i eat my own hat.
That day will never happen as the man is a useless, headless chicken

McLaren and Ferrari are 2 different team run in completely different ways.

I would be interested to hear how you come to that opinion.

Schumacher raced in a period where Ferrari was the best by far. Tyres, tactics and fuel didn't play a part. Schumacher would go 10 races qualifying 1st then driving away.
Nowadays, it's about tactics, driver ability, fuel management, DRS and Kers.

"He should be taking points off his rivals not smiling to the press when he fails to deliver" Agreed. I said that after Montreal.
" Tyres, tactics and fuel didn't play a part" you are having a laugh aren't you? He got the best tyres available and more info from manufacturer than anyone else. He also cheated to win at least one of his titles.

I didn't phrase myself well.
I meant that tyres, tactics and fuel play a bigger part now as its a level playing field.

This is what Gary Anderson has to say
"Lewis Hamilton lost some decent points in his collision with Pastor Maldonado, but McLaren have bigger problems than that.
Hamilton was just not fast enough. He lost a lot of ground very quickly to Vettel at the beginning of the race and the McLaren was also slower than the Lotus and probably the Ferrari.
McLaren have got to have a close look at that, and I do think that Jenson Button's performance is firing a warning shot across their bows.
They need to be looking at what is wrong with Jenson because if they make him better they will make Lewis better as well.
The problems show up a bit more on Button's car because Hamilton can adapt to problems and drive around them whereas Button cannot. "
