Bates has put himself in a corner and needs money to move the club on both on and off the field. Nobody will invest whilst he's still in charge so that's why the takeover talks are happening.

I think it will happen but not in time to make a difference in this transfer window.

Radebe retired in 2005.

So all the trouble everyone's been shooting off about at the club, and the management losing the plot with the players all wanting out!..

Beckford would have gone even if the management had managed to get him to sign a new contract, FACT!..

Remember the time when our best players got kicked out because our then manager thought they weren't good enough?..

Well I think that would have upset Beckford and he would have sulked a new club!..

Along with the players that got shown the door, where Grayson managed to hold onto him till the end of his contract, if he hadn't have done then Bates would have done with him what he did with the others, the way it went Beckford got what he wanted, but do you think he would have seen the end of his contract that he would have had to signed to stay with us?..

I think the list of players that drove us up the wall on leaving would have had his name added to it!..

And whatever is with the club and its future, it'd best happen a bit quicker, because if it doesn't and Bates thinks he's losing out then he might sell whats left of the few worth selling, and that might upset Warnock and leave us sinking in our own stuff a bit deeper!..

But, having said all that, I've said before I don't think I could put up with his sulking and unsettling the Changing room which he seems to be good at, I wonder if he means to do it or if its just natural!..

stevie....i agree the old git is backed into a corner...a lot that i've been speaking to won't renew season ticks..& if we get off to a bad start next season...fans will not be buying tickets for home games especially...& he's brought it upon himself through his lack of ambition & ripping fans off....

The other reason not to say fact MattyP, sorry FACT!is that I have yet to see anybody do so who doesn't sound like a complete and utter buffoon!
