Sky Sports 'understands' that a fee has been agreed btween Northampton and Derby County for the services of Michael Jacobs.
Good news considering that a week ago Derby's bid was 'a million miles off' their valuation.
Wonder how much we've paid for him.?

Why would anyone want to do a test to see if they can join MENSA?

Its forced upon those "Special" type people, something to do with claiming benefits I suppose.

It was free (which you would have realised if you read my previous comment), and it was over 30 years ago. I'm just not clever enough to remember how to cancel my Direct Debit.
Also, part of the prize was a Sinclair Scientific calculator. Whoop de doop, you might say, but they were £125 at the time.
Also, when I was tenpin bowling competitively, the guy who sponsored me for a number of years was a member. Perhaps if I hadn't been, he wouldn't have been as eager to hand over large quantities of cash for tournament entry fees, new bowling balls at £150 a pop, shirts (with his company name on, of course) etc.
I don't think it owes me anything.

Colbi:
I claimed benefits for almost a year. The princely sum of £96 a week and I was turned down for disability living allowance, despite being completely housebound. That only got sorted out when my MP intervened on my behalf. I finally got a hip replacement and three weeks later, once I was able to throw away one crutch, I returned to work.
I don't take kindly to people taking the rise out of people who are disabled, either physically or mentally; equally I think that people who generalise about benefit claimants are probably incapable of one ounce of compassion.

I may not be as intense as a few of you on here. But why all the bickering amongst each other?...i enjoy all your input on here but just lately its becoming a bit sad. You all know your stuff on football and Derby but it seems oneupmanship on another is more important now. Disagree on Derby is fine but it seems to have gone personal all the time. Just my view

Flack off BACKO ya Winka.
The bickering is down to Colbi alone. fact. He knows what I think to his childish ranting, others seem to be drawn in.
I would say to all to just rise above it, forget he posts at all if you get wound up about it.
OOE - don't expect an apology from Colbi but if he has another pop about disability then you should expect one. But on the other hand, don't put your life on an Internet forum.

Iwas,
How dare you accuse me of knowing what you think. This is a ridiculous statement and one I feel you should be ashamed of.
We all come on here to have a laugh until you turn up and make accusations of the most serious kind, this is completely beyond my comprehension and the Authorities should take strong action against you.
Rickeeey!!
