It's pretty weird that English players do not perform for their country, but at club level they put in a decent shift. It's a bit quaint for players that earn triple the amount we earn in a year. That's life for you.

Ashley Young was very poor indeed, Ashley Cole had to do two jobs at left mid.
I thought generally the wide men for us offered nothing, wish Ox and Walcott had started as they didn't press us out wide and that was our outlet at times
