Why are we letting them join Spurs? Please don't say they are average players, Vertonghen is a class act and exactly the type of player we need at the back. Sigurdson for €10M is a gamble definitely worth taking, he reminds me an awful lot of Van Der Vaart (is he leaving?) and he scores goals from midfield, something none of our current midfielders do.
I'm happy we have got Podolski but I hope we don't rest on our laurels now after signing 2 quality players. We need a DM and we still need at least 2 more quality players after signing one. Shame we are letting 2 quality players waste their respective careers in the Europa League side of North London when they could be the key to taking us to the next level.

I never wanted us to sign Mclean, Tiote or Ba. Ok Sigurdson turned out to be shít but Dempsey showed at the world cup he is world class and Spurs ruined him
