My mum was at the City Ground today, and was catered for in the players lounge, by joey, who cooks for the players at the training canteen and in the players lounge. Anyway, Joey told her that he has seen a group of 7 men, who he was told was a consortium being shown around at the end of last week, and he also has heard of an Indian group being interested, but hasnt seen them around. However he also said that any rumours of arabs being interested he thinks are false and he hasnt heard anything from inside the club on the fawaz deal. He also said that Chambers is still waiting to see if he is offered a deal, and mccleary wasnt keen on signing a new contract when he was offered less than 'recently signed players, who have had bit part roles' .. possibly meaning greening?
