David O'leary

10 years ago sacked by Leeds United.

Felt gutted at the time. Sacked for missing out on champions league by 1 point 2 years in a row. Seemed unfair at the time as we didn't know the whole picture.

Played great football under his management tho.

Thought it was the start of something, not the end.

Wasn't gutted when he went.

Was released fairly, if he was that good he'd have been gainfully employed ever since...!

It wasn't the start or end of anything, it was a period in our history.

It started the end of that short period in europe.

True he hasn't done much since he left, but neither did the players seem to have the same impact at other clubs when they were shipped out.

Hindsight makes everything easy to see and obvious, just seems to have passed by quickly (the 10 years) in life but not in supporting Leeds United terms. If that makes sense.

Don't take life too seriously, no one gets out alive.

Some of those players couldn't wait to leave, couldn't get out quick enough. That's the shameful thing.
