Surely, once AVB comes in and Modric leaves, this will be an ideal replacement. I like this guy. I'm sure AVB could sweet talk him into joining us. After he's had a throat sweet of course. I would refuse to let him sweet talk me unless he'd had a lozenge or two.

Don............................You are so full of the brown stuff. You know full well that those figures quoted are not including salaries.
If you including salaries then your figure of £43m would triple at least, possibly more.
If you are going to quote figures then please do so in a realistic way!

no point getting moutinho if we can get sahin as part of a modric deal.
sahin is just as good and will be a whole lot cheaper !

Would of thought you'd have seen the sarcasm when i said 'yes'
Moutinho isn't that great anyway

Moutinho looked by far the best player on the pitch last night!!

He's essentially just a more efficient Meireles. Decent passing, presses well, bit lazy in possession at times. Not worth how much he'd leave for

Don mata. I agree. Not in the same class as modric yet would have to spend the whole modric fee to get him
SAHIN is the man needed

Tbf how many players are in the same class as Modric that plays a similar role
Don't know how you could get Sahin, Mourinho seems hell bent on keeping him unless they put a buy back clause. Diarra?

As a listener of the excellent world football phone in on radio five the gossip amongst the journalists over in the Euros was that Moutinho was being lined up by AVB as his first big signing. I agree would be a fantastic replacement for Moddle based on his performances at this tournament. Doesn't score many goals though but neither did the soon to be free one either!

40m euros is 32m and because its Avb the price will be higher. It'd have to be around the 25m mark to get him
